Say with flowers as Bishop of Chichester visits St John’s Church

A stunning display of flowers covering 150 years will greet the Bishop of Chichester tomorrow at a special service in Burgess Hill.

The much-praised anniversary flower display at St John’s Church is in its second day today (Saturday) from 10am to 5pm. and the Rt Rev Martin Warner, Bishop of Chichester, will see the 70-plus exhibits when he conducts a celebration Eucharist at 10am on Sunday, the final day of the flower festival.

The festival has 34 exhibits tracing historical moments since the church opened 150 years ago, such the Queen’s birthday and the First Test Match between England and Australia. It also has an equal number of superb complementary displays.
