Babyballet: Coming to Scaynes Hill in November are award winning ‘Babyballet’ classes for kids aged from 6 months to 6 years. Babyballet classes dance classes allow babies, toddlers and young children to enjoy the physical and social benefits of ballet, song and dance in a safe, caring, positive and informal environment. A 3 week trial is being offered for only £15.00. The schedule is as follows. Friday mornings 9.30 am – 18 months to 3 years babyballet ‘Tinies’. 10.15 am – 3 years – 4 years babyballet ‘Movers’. Charity Quiz Night: Dementia and Alzheimers is on the increase and it is estimated that by 2025 one million people in Britain will have dementia. Scaynes Hill Club is holding a ‘Dementia Awareness Night’ and hope to raise much needed funds for research and training. There will be a QUIZ with tickets being sold for just £2.50. There is a maximum of 6 players per team. There will also be a very tasty Lasagne on sale during the interval. All money raised will go to the cause. Both Bridget Pepper and Steve Allott are supporting and promoting this event. Tickets can be purchased from the club or from Bridget or Steve.

Fruit & Veg Share: The Fruit & Veg Share scheme is now finished for 2015. Thank you to everyone who participated and to the good folk who organised this marvellous scheme.

Inn on the Green: On behalf of all of everyone at the Inn on the Green, they would just like to say a huge THANK YOU for your support at the Fire Walk event. They raised a whopping £1,115 for the Little Heroes Cancer Trust – well done all! Look forward to seeing you all there next year!

Quiz Nights: There has been a change to the Inn on the Green Quiz Night. It will now be held on the first Wednesday of the month and not weekly. It starts at 7.00pm, with a £2.00 entrance fee and a maximum of 6 players per team. Why not go along and test out your brain power?

Thank you to those folks who have chatted with me about our Knitted Nativity project. I now have a knitting pattern book, money to buy the wool and a few people have offered to help with knitting. If you fancy knitting some sheep, maybe a few angels or shepherds please have a chat with me. St. Augustine’s CEP School: The school are holding an open day on Thursday 5 November 9am – 3pm, and would like to invite any prospective parents to go and have a look around to see what they can offer them and their family. It is a small, friendly Church of England village school, within 5 minutes of Haywards Heath. Tours are being held throughout the day and appointments can be made via the school office 01444 831371.
The school are also hosting their annual Art Exhibition on Wednesday 4 November at 6pm. This showcases artwork from all the children in the school and the school would like to invite people to come and have a look around.
