CHRISTMAS TREES: Oakgates Farm is now open for Christmas Tree Reservations. It really is a fantastic way to choose a tree and can involve the whole family. Go along to the farm and you will be given a label to put your name on, then off you go to wander around all the trees that are still growing outside. When you find the tree of your dreams then just tie on your label and let them know at reception when you want to pick it up. It will then be sawn and netted for you on your arranged day. Make sure you take wellies. Oakgates Farm is down Clearwater Lane, just past the garage in Scaynes Hill. They are open from 9am to 5pm daily. For more information call on 01444 831189 or email Be quick though because they really do sell out quick because the trees are fabulous, the prices are great and the local family who own the business are so lovely and helpful.

HAYWARDS HEATH POLICE: There has been a break in to the Denton Homes building site on Church Road Scaynes Hill. ST AUGUSTINE’S CHURCH: The services on November 29 will take place as usual. The Alpha course is a great opportunity for those who are not sure about what they believe to explore the Christian faith and for those who are Christians to think about their faith in new ways. St Augustine’s Church will be running an Alpha course on Wednesday mornings in the New Year. There will be an introductory session on

Wednesday 25th November, at 10am in the annexe. Please speak to Lisa if you would be interested in taking part in this new course.

YOUTH NEWS: Do you have any good, second hand toys you could donate to the children’s toy box? If so please let Emily know.

BEAVERS AND SCOUTS: The Beavers and Scouts, who meet in the Millennium Centre, are struggling to find leaders at the moment. Group Scout Leader, Steve Minter (831786) would be pleased to hear from anyone who might like to find out more about getting involved.
