A few light showers could not dampen the spirits at another popular Haywards Heath Town Day and 999 Fun Day.
The event, in Victoria Park, on Saturday September 5, provided more than 60 stalls, plus plenty of fairground rides and lots of exciting displays.
City of London Mounted Police and Search & Rescue Dogs provided an eye-opening display which showed how police dogs help the force with their search and rescue missions.
Children enjoyed exploring the fire engine and speaking to firefighters and were even allowed to try on their suits.
There was plenty to keep youngsters busy with Punch & Judy shows and a very popular dog show.
Performances were also provided by Sussex Factor, Popsteps and Spanish dancers.
