Snow: flights cancelled but Gatwick still open
FLIGHTS have been cancelled at Gatwick but the airport remains open, although snow is falling this morning (Saturday).
British Airways and easiJet have cancelled some flights at Gatwick and there is disruption around Europe, but the message is to check with the airline if you are flying over the weekend.
Driving conditions are difficult across the county but there major concern is on the roads around the Bury junction on the B2138 in the South Downs.
Southern is running a revised and restricted train timetable, though additional carriages will be provided.
