St Paul’s students ‘over the moon’

Students at St. Paul’s Catholic College were celebrating after 89% of students achieved 5 or more A*-C grades.

83% of the candidates achieved A*-C grades in English and Maths and 34% of all grades were A* or A.

Some of the results included the following students who achieved 10 or more A* and A grades were; Katie Bacchus, Kofi Baah, Anna Burke, Siobhan Connellan, Josh Crow, Ben Franklin, Conor Froud, Amber Goodsell-Collett, Kimberley Hallam, Kelton Lawrence, Krystyna Lenartowicz, Emily Nash and Ellen Smith.

Top perfomers included Eleanor Crabtree who achieved 10 A* grades and 4 A grades along with Connor Main who was awarded 9A* and 4 A grades, their hard work was rewarded in the final grades.

Another success story was Rongxuan Dou who achieved 4 A* grades, 3 A grades and 1 C grade along with an A* in his A level Maths having joined St. Paul’s only in Year 10.

Hilary Morfitt, Director of Key Stage 4 Achievement, said: “I was over the moon when I saw these results. I am thrilled that the students have something to celebrate after all their dedication and commitment.”

Rob Carter, Headteacher, said “We are very proud of what the students have achieved. They have really flourished and fulfilled their potential and set themselves up for the next chapter in the Sixth Form. I am very grateful for all the hard work and support given by staff and parents to make this happen as a real team effort.”
