BELL RINGING: Bell Ringing Open Night Friday September 9, 7.30pm to 9pm at St Mary’s Church, Slaugham. The Slaugham Bell ringers are supporting Heritage Open Days proposal for as many church bells as possible to be rung between September 8 and 11. Different methods of change ringing will be demonstrated with the aid of a model they will show how the bells function. Everyone is warmly welcome.

VILLAGE LUNCHES: Next village lunch will be held on Friday September 16, 12.30pm for 1pm. Book now with Carole or Andrew 413571

RUN/WALK: Angus Rowland and ForgetMeNot Run/Walk, Sunday October 2. 
Following the success of last year with over 250 people taking part we are organising the annual Angus Rowland ForgetmeNot run/walk starting and finishing at Staplefield Village Hall. We are suggesting a donation of £10 per adult and £5 per child under 14 years. This will include a T-shirt. Dogs are welcome but must be under control as livestock maybe present along the walk. Refreshments will be available throughout the morning in the village hall. So do join us for a quick cuppa if you cannot make the walk. All welcome.
