Police are growing concerned for a Crawley man missing since Saturday evening (January 10).
Roberto Carlos Correia, 39, was last seen by his brother, who he lives with at Weald Drive in Furnace Green, when they went to bed on Saturday night around midnight.
Roberto was heard to leave the house around 6am on Sunday (January 11) to go to work at Gatwick. His brother phoned to ask if he wanted a lift but Roberto turned it down, however he didn’t arrive at work and has been seen since.
PC Mark Green said: “Roberto has been missing before and was found in Worthing and had links in Crawley, where he lives, and in Brighton. It is thought he might be sleeping rough. He is described as tanned, slim, around 6’ 2” with black shaven or cropped hair and brown eyes and speaks with a Portuguese accent. He is believed to be wearing blue denim jeans, black shoes, a red T-shirt with a Jamie Oliver logo and dark grey Adidas jacket with red stripes.
“We are concerned for Roberto and would like anyone who knows where he has been or has had contact with him to call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial 1080 of 11/01.”
