Police say they would like to speak to a cyclist who was seen in the area at the time and had asked for directions to the railway station.

He is described as white, about 40-years-old, of medium build and with fair or mousey brown short hair. He was wearing light coloured clothing and may have worn glasses.

DC Gavin Percival, of Horsham Police Station, said: “If anyone can assist with any information about this burglary I would be very grateful. I am particularly interested in speaking with the cyclist or hearing from anyone who had this man attend their premises on this day or any other.”

Anyone with any information is asked to contact [email protected] or call 101, quoting serial 971 of 18/02.

Alternatively, you can call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
