Time to rememberour lost loved ones

An annual service remembering departed loved ones takes place at St John’s Church, Burgess Hill on December 4.

The Service of Remembering is intended to bring together thoughts and memories. The service includes prayer and music as well as an opportunity to light a candle in memory of the departed. The church says those who have attended in the past have appreciated being able to remember their loved ones in this way.

You do not have to be familiar with the church to attend, or your loss recent.

All are welcome and light refreshments will be available after the service.

The church celebrated its 150th anniversary this year with a series of events, including floodlighting the church in the evenings.
