County travel and weather - update

There are more reports of traffic jams around the A23/A272 junction at Bolney, possibly resulting from an accident earlier this morning.

Signal problems causing disruption, with trains unable to go southbound from Haywards Heath.

A statement on Southern’s website said:

“Buses are being sourced to run between Haywards Heath and Lewes/Brighton.

“Tickets are being accepted on:- Southeastern, South West Trains, First Great Western and London Underground

“Mutual ticket acceptance is in place between Southern and Thameslink.”

The weather will be sunny with scattered showers, with the possibility of heavier showers in the afternoon, according to the Met Office.
