Motorcyclist named locally as victim of Shoreham Airshow crash

A Facebook page set up to find a motorcyclist who has not been seen since the Shoreham Airshow crash has revealed he has died.

The death of Mark Trussler was announced on the public Facebook page ‘Find Mark Trussler’, which was established after the incident last Saturday (August 22).

A post revealing Mr Trussler has died was posted yesterday evening (August 28).

It read: “It’s with a very hurt, broken and pained heart that I share with you all, that Mark Trussler died due to the Hawker Jet crash at Shoreham on the 22nd of August 2015.

“I want to thank you all for your incredible and touching support. All I request is that the family is allowed to grieve through this traumatic loss of Mark. Thank you so much!”

Tributes have poured in for Mr Trussler on the Facebook page.

Previous posts on the page indicated Mr Trussler was riding his motorcycle on the A27 at the time of the crash.
