Runaway car in Hassocks
A pedestrian received a glancing blow from an empty car that rolled out of a parking bay in Keymer Road, Hassocks this morning.
An eye witness said: “I just saw it roll and it struck a bollard. It hit someone at the top of the thigh but they didn’t seem to be badly hurt and walked away.”
The empty car rolled across Keymer Road and just missed the front wall of the Post Office sorting office at the junction with Downsview Road.
