Travel news: Delays to trains through Haywards Heath

Rail operator Southern is advising passengers that speed restrictions are in place on several southbound routes, while Network Rail employees carry out the checks.

A statement from the company said: “Owing to safety checks being made at Haywards Heath trains have to run at reduced speed on some southbound lines.

“Train services running through this station may be delayed by up to 10 mins at short notice. An estimate for the resumption of normal services will be provided as soon as the problem has been fully assessed.”
