Witnesses sought to two car crash on the A23 near Handcross

Police are seeking witnesses to a two car collision on the A23 northbound between Handcross and Pease Pottage.

Police say it occurred shortly before 9.30am today (Friday September 23) and involved a red Volkswagen Up and a blue Vauxhall Zafira, both travelling north.

The impact between the two vehicles led to the Vauxhall hitting the central barrier and coming to rest in lane three.

Two people travelling in the Vauxhall were taken by ambulance to the East Surrey Hospital, Redhill, for treatment to slight injuries.

The VW driver was unhurt.
