Two children ‘bitten by dog’ in Burgess Hill

Police are investigating after two children were allegedly bitten by a dog in Burgess Hill.

The attack reportedly happened in Royal George Road on Monday (December 9).

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “Police received a report of two children being bitten by a dog in Royal George Road, Burgess Hill, shortly after 3pm on Monday (December 9).

“The two children, aged five and three, both suffered minor injuries.

“The dog was described as small, black and rough-haired, possibly a cockapoo or a terrier.

“The case has been filed pending any further information.”

Anyone who witnessed the alleged incident is asked to report it to Sussex Police online quoting serial 1303 of 09/12.
