Two men charged with Burgess Hill life-threatening assault to appear in court on Friday


Two men charged over the life-threatening assault of a local man in Burgess Hill have had their court hearing deferred until July 31.

Benjamin Watkinson, 22, of Stanford Road, Brighton, and Alfie Robinson, 22, of Chanctonbury Road, Burgess Hill, were due to appear at Hove Trial Centre on July 24 after a 20-year-old man was left in life-threatening condition after an attack in Mill Road on June 28.

The men were charged with grievous bodily harm with intent and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

Their preliminary hearing had to be deferred due to prison video link issues.
