Union Jack dress gets the village flags waving
Opera singer Sidonie Winter, while wearing a Union Jack dress, led hundreds of flag-waving villagers in a concert of Proms-night favourites on Sunday, June 30.
The event, in the grounds of Red Oaks care home in Henfield, combined a concert of up-tempo music from the local brass ensemble, Brass Fusion, with the traditional Proms night favourites of Fantasy on British Sea Songs, Rule Britannia and Land of Hope and Glory.
The evening, which raised money for local charities, was organised by Brass Fusion and staff at Red Oaks.
