According to police, a silver Vauxhall car and blue Ford Fiesta collided.

The 20-year-old man was driving the Ford. The Vauxhall driver was taken to Worthing Hospital.

The road is currently the main diversion route for traffic travelling to and from the west of Worthing after the stretch of A27 at Shoreham was closed following Saturday’s plane crash.
