A spokesman for the fire service said the barn had become unstable and was allowed to burn whilst crews protected nearby buildings.

Three gas cylinders were also removed from the barn. No-one was injured in the fire.

Crews left the scene at 10.30pm.

The spokesman added the blaze is being treated as deliberate and the incident has now been left with police.
