UPDATE: Decision deferred on plans for 51 new village homes
Plans for 51 new homes in Hassocks have been deferred by Mid Sussex District Council today (Thursday June 16).
Developers are looking for permission for a site to the west of London Road and officers had recommended the scheme be approved, despite more than 170 letters of objection from residents.
But MSDC’s district planning committee deferred the application until it receives a decision from the planning inspector on a previously refused scheme for 97 homes.
