Urgent appeal for second-hand books

The club has a second-hand bookshop in Church Walk Burgess Hill and stocks are running low.

During an average month, about 5,000 books are sold. The club also recycles mobile phones, hearing aids and spectacles.

The Lions accept deliveries at the front and rear of the bookshop at 99, Church Walk.

There is also a collection point at South Downs Nurseries, Hassocks.
