A video showing the proposed new look for Burgess Hill town centre has been released.

The video has been released by The Martlets Shopping Centre and shows a virtual 3D tour of the proposed £65m regeneration project.

Plans for the redevelopment were submitted to Mid Sussex District Council at the end of last month and outline the creation of a ten screen Cineworld Cinema, a 63 bed Travelodge hotel, 142 residential units, a purpose-built modern library, 283 additional car parking spaces and an extra 70,000 square feet of retail space.

An exhibition outlining the plans is to be held from Thursday November 12 until Friday November 27 at the Burgess Hill Town Council offices.

The exhibition will be open from 9am-5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, 10am-5pm on Wednesday and 9.30am-12.30pm on Saturday.
