ROAD CLOSURE: The Haywards Heath Road, Balcombe, outside Trent House, will be closed between London Road and Haywards Heath Road, on Thursday 23 March 2017 from 09:30hrs to allow British Telecom Openreach to replace a telegraph pole damaged in a traffic collision. The alternative route for traffic will be signed on site via London Road, Haywards Heath Road and vice versa. Emergency, Pedestrian and Residential Vehicular access to be maintained at all times.

CINEMA: “La La Land” will be screened in the Victory Hall on Friday 24 March starting at 7.30 pm. This award winning film tells the story of a jazz singer who falls in love with an aspiring actress. The film stars Ryan Gosling and Emma Stone and is a 12A. The running time will be 128 minutes, with an interval for refreshments mid-way through. Tickets £6.00 from Threads.

61 CLUB COFFEE MORNING: takes place on Saturday 25 March from 10.00 am until 12 noon in the Parish Room. Any help with donations for the General Raffle, Easter Egg Raffle, Tombola, Cake and Produce, White Elephant and Book stalls will be most gratefully received at any of our meetings or on the morning itself. This is a major fund-raiser for the group so do support.

QUIZ: Pam and Barrie are asking the questions in the Club quiz on Sunday 26 March at 8.00 pm. Teams of four.

FRACK FREE BALCOMBE RESIDENTS’ ASSOCIATION: has its AGM in Bramble Hall on Wednesday 29 March at 8.00 pm in Bramble Hall.

GARDENERS’ ASSOCIATION SPRING SHOW: is coming up on Saturday 1 April from 2.30 pm in the Victory Hall. Have a look around your garden to see what you could enter – the more entries the merrier the show. Look out too for the Bake Off competition which for the Spring Show is a Blueberry Cheesecake Gateau recipe – see Page 16 of the Year Book or call 811800 for the recipe. All entries for the various categories (Domestic and Gardening) have to be in by Wednesday 29 March to the Show Secretary on
