Royal British Legion: Women’s Section are holding their Poppy Appeal Morning at the Old School, Cuckfield on Saturday,5th November from 10.15am until 12 noon. Admission is £1 to include tea/coffee and biscuits. There will be a raffle and on sale cakes/savouries, homemade cards and preserves, books, puzzles and Royal British Legion goods.

Craft and Gift Fair: The 5th Christmas Fair is to be held at the Old School, Cuckfield on Saturday 12th November between 10am and 2.30pm. Admission Free. Raffle. Browse among over 40 stalls offering a range of Christmas decorations, homeware, crochet work, jewellery, candles, greeting cards, photo prints, knitted items, books, skin care and many other festive gift ideas. In the refreshment area homemade soup cakes, tea and coffee will be available throughout the day at very reasonable prices. Why not call in for coffee, lunch or tea and resolve the annual problem of what to give your favourite Auntie. Father Christmas will also be there so, children, don’t forget to visit him, he may have something for you?

Cuckfield European Association: is having a curry evening and beetle drive on Saturday 12th November at the Old School, Cuckfield at 7.30 pm. Tickets at £16 each are available from Wealden Stores, Whitemans Green (please indicate if you want a vegetarian meal when purchasing your ticket). There is a licensed bar.
