Parish council meeting: on December 13th, 7.30pm Planning, 8.15pm Estates.

Carol Concert: at Holy Trinity Church at 3.30pm on Friday 14th December. Organised by members of the Mid Sussex Dementia Forum, Concert followed by Christmas Café from 4.30pm.

Cuckfield Christmas Street Festival: on 7th December from 6 to 8pm in the High Street. Road closed with stalls and fun activities for all.

Christmas Tree Festival: in the Holy Trinity Church opens at 11.30am on Friday 7th December. Over 80 decorated trees will be on display along with a festival café and various live music events. A carol service to mark the end of the festival will take place at 6pm on Sunday 9th followed by mulled wine and mince pies.

Local Food Market: on Saturday 8th December in The Talbot Courtyard from 9.30 -12.30pm.

Christmas Cabaret: The CDS Annual Christmas Cabaret is on Friday 14th and Saturday 15th December in The Queen’s Hall at 8pm. Tickets £20 from Marcus Grimes or www.cdsweb.co.uk

Cuckfield WI: were pleased to welcome Matthew Gallagher, from P & S Gallagher, to the November meeting on a presentation of ‘Queen Victoria’s Funeral’. Matthew was funny and engaging, and has a clear passion for the subject. He is well informed and was able to convey many details about Queen Victoria and her funeral.

The Cuckfield Evening WI meet on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30pm in the Cuckfield Baptist Church and welcome new visitors. A term has started, and with it a new president and committee - please contact [email protected] if you have any questions.
