Students from Central Sussex College’s Sixth Form Haywards Heath attended a Dance Insight Day at the University of Chichester in November.

The students had the opportunity to have a tour round the university, take part in a variety of dance workshops and watch performances from their resident companies ‘Earthfall’ and ‘Map’.

The visiting students and staff were delighted to see former Sixth Form Haywards Heath students, Luke Norris, 20, from Horsham, and Frances Bromley, 21, from Hassocks.

Luke, who is now in his third year at Chichester, performed as part of Chichester’s resident company ‘Earthfall’, demonstrating his development and strength as a dancer since leaving the College.

Frances, who has been working on the administration for ‘Earthfall’, hopes to go into Arts Management when she graduates.

Dance Subject Leader, Rose Ryan commented, “It was a pleasure to see Luke performing as part of Earthfall. His dancing has gone from strength to strength, as we saw in the performances. The students thoroughly enjoyed the day and a number of them have been inspired to apply to study dance at Chichester.”
