Mid Sussex Golf Club continues to go from strength to strength and in order to build on the success of the previous four years, the Directors are reinvesting all profits into improving facilities at the Club.

Course and Clubhouse improvements continue at a pace. The golf course has a maintenance programme to provide new pathways, tee box levelling and conservation work to encourage more flora and fauna to the 157 acres.

The drainage programme ensures that the golf course retains less water year on year. The Practice area is being renovated with new mats and being fitted with an ‘astro turf’ area to simulate hitting off grass all year round. Other facilities include the chipping and putting green, the 3-hole practice course and the innovative 9-hole short course for beginners.

Refurbishment of male and female locker rooms, facilities and showers is underway and the attractive new patio area and furniture at the front of the Clubhouse will be complete by the end of March. Redecoration of the Clubhouse interior is ongoing to ensure that members and visitors can continue to enjoy the Sunday Lunch Carvery, mid-week lunches and afternoon teas in the most pleasant surroundings. The splendid views of the South Downs and the magnificent floral displays are visible from a new spacious and comfortable Conservatory.

The approachable and professional staff are always delighted to welcome prospective members and casual visitors to the Club. Further information about weddings, family parties or corporate meetings can be found on www.midsussexgolfclub.co.uk or by phoning on 01273 841835 to speak to Anne or Lee.
