The infants at Burgess Hill School for Girls performed their musical nativity entitled The Apprentice to their delighted parents, carers and grandparents on 2nd and 3rd December.
It told the traditional Christmas Story through the eyes of Sarah, a young carpenter’s apprentice in Bethlehem.
The Year 2 girls were the narrators and part of the nativity cast, Year 1 were Roman soldiers and the Reception girls were the young apprentices.
Charlotte Rayner, in Year 2, said, “It was fun learning to sing the songs!”
Mrs Azhar, Head of Key Stage 1, added, “The girls worked hard to learn their words and remember their cues. There were lots of catchy songs, which the girls sang enthusiastically. They enjoyed showing off their talents to their families, and for girls so young they did a fantastic job!”
