:If you aren’t involved: in the trip above, you might be interested in an event being hosted by High Beeches Gardens on the Balcombe Road. Between 11am and 4pm there will be a Gift Fair in aid of Help for Heroes. It will an ideal opportunity to look for some ‘different’ gift ideas for Christmas as along with delicious chocolates, preserves and plants on sale, there will be a wide selection of gifts on sale. There will also be a raffle and a tombola which can also provide different things to pass on as a gift. Entry to the Fair is free but as you are there why not take the opportunity to have a wander around the gardens and enjoy the autumnal colours which are some of the best in the country.

Next month’s Community Bus trip: on Tuesday, 6 November will be to Portsmouth leaving Nymans at 9am and leaving Portsmouth at 4pm. There will be the opportunity to enjoy everything the city has to offer or to go up the Spinnaker Tower and the variety of shops around that area. If you would like to go, get in touch with Christina in the Hardware Shop or give her a ring on 400212; the fare is a very reasonable £15 per person.
