The staff at Kiddi Caru’s Burgess Hill day nursery are celebrating after the nursery received a good rating from Ofsted.

Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills) inspect and regulate services which care for children and young people, and those providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They carry out a large number of inspections and regulatory visits across England.

The report highlighted the consistently high standard of education provided at the nursery, which is resulting in the children making good progress in their learning and development. The staff were also praised for their strong relationships with parents and commitment to working in partnership with them.

In addition the inspector highlighted how well the nursery prepares the children for the next stage in their learning and ultimately their move to school.

They were impressed by the range of activities offered, noting that this was instrumental in keeping the children engaged and motivated to learn.

Ofsted reported that the children at the nursery are happy, settled and have a secure relationship with the caring staff, which allows them to be enthusiastic, independent, sociable and motivated.

Emma Bamford, Nursery Manager, said: “We’re all absolutely delighted with this new report from Ofsted. Our aim at all times is to provide the highest standard of care to give the children who come here the very best start in life, so to have achieved a good Ofsted rating is brilliant. I’m very proud of the team here, and they should be extremely proud of themselves too. They all do a fantastic job and without them the nursery would not be able to provide such a wonderful offering for the children and their parents.”

Kiddi Caru’s Burgess Hill day nursery provides premium quality childcare for children aged 0 – 5 years.
