Sussex Vale Rotary CLub hold golf day for Whoopsadaisy

Thursday May 26 saw a group of Rotarians, and local business people, take to the fairways of Mid Sussex Golf Club in aid of local charity, Whoopsadaisy.

Every year The Rotary Club of the Sussex Vale hold a charity golf day from which the proceeds go to help one or more local charities.

This year, Whoopsadaisy, a Brighton-based charity that helps young children with cerebral palsy, will be one of the main beneficiaries from what was a very successful day.

The golfers were fortunate with the weather and so had every opportunity to score well. Of course, some did not do as well as they might have hoped. Nevertheless everyone enjoyed the experience, which was followed by dinner in the evening.

President of the Sussex Vale, Martin Booth said: “The Club had been impressed by Beata Kusel when she gave us a talk a few weeks ago and so, was pleased to support such a worthy cause.”
