Money raised by The Lindfield Club during a year of fundraising events will benefit The Children’s Trust, the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury.

A cheque for £6,000 was presented at the Club to the charity’s Head of Voluntary Fundraising, Katie Roberts, on Saturday 29th November.

Kind-hearted members at the Club have held various fundraising events over the last twelve months, which have included a golf day, games night, attending local fetes and may other activities.

Richard Harding, Social Secretary of The Lindfield Club, said: “We are proud to have raised a brilliant and record amount for a worthwhile cause.

“We thank everyone at the Club who have been involved and our representatives from The Children’s Trust who supported us.”

Katie Roberts, Head of Voluntary Fundraising at The Children’s Trust, added: “We are delighted to be the chosen charity of The Lindfield Club and would like to thank all the members for this wonderful donation, which will go towards our music therapy service which plays a very important role for children with brain injury.”
