The Martlets Shopping Centre treated shoppers to a spooky day of fun on Saturday October 31 in celebration of Halloween.
Shoppers enjoyed a huge variety of activities including a face painter who helped transform young shoppers into little ghosts and ghouls for the big day.
A safe Trick or Treating event also took place throughout the day, where children were invited to hunt for posters hidden in shop windows in return for a spooky treat.
The event was designed to give children all the excitement of trick or treating without the potential dangers of knocking on strangers’ doors.
The centre’s arts and crafts shop, Get Crafty, also hosted an exciting workshop for younger shoppers where they could make various Halloween creations such as spooky badges and receive glitter tattoos.
Ian Goodridge, Centre Manager of The Martlets Shopping Centre, commented: “The Halloween day at the shopping centre was a huge success and out shoppers looked like they had a lot of fun. Our safe Trick or Treating event was a great way for children to enjoy Halloween in a safe and secure environment.”
