Volume is so loud at cinema, it gives me a headache

It is so deafening that I have stopped going as it gives me a headache.

Recently, I discovered that other people have the same problem - a friend’s small daughter had to take her hearing aids out as the sound was unbearable.

Many people have therefore chosen to go to the Orion, in Burgess Hill where the sound level is ok. It is with great sadness that I learned that the Orion is closing down, and in its place a Cineworld is being built.

Could the Mid Sussex Times help to raise awareness of this problem and get the management to lower the volume?

After all, it is well known that such a high level of decibels causes hearing loss.
