Washing machine catches fire in Burgess Hill
A washing machine caught fire in Burgess Hill on Friday (October 6).
Firefighters were called to a house in Western Road, at around 10.30am.
The washing machine, situated in the kitchen, had been on fire but was out when the emergency service arrived.
The machine’s electrics were isolated and it was yaken out of the house.
