Weather outlook for Sussex

Today (Sunday, March 19) will see a mostly dry but breezy day for most of Sussex but later in the day may see patchy rain in some areas.

The temperature is expected to remain mild for this time of year, with a maximum temperature of 15C.

Tonight clear spells will give way to cloud and rain in the west edging slowly eastwards.

Most parts of the county will see some rain before dawn.

It is also expected to stay windy, with a minimum temperature of 8C.

According to the Met Office, tomorrow (Monday, March 20), will be a mostly cloudy day with periods of rain, heavy at times.

But it will slowly turn drier, and colder. The maximum temperature is expected to be 12C.

According to the Met Office, the outlook for Tuesday (March 21) to Thursday (March 23) is expected to see temperatures below average for the time of year with an overnight rural grass frost in some places.

There will be scattered showers at times, especially on Wednesday (March 22), as well as some drier and brighter spells.
