Met Office warning continues today across Sussex

A Met Office weather warning is still in place for most of today (Monday November 30) across Sussex.

South-westerly winds will increase later this morning, with gales extending along much of southern and central England, and severe gales likely on exposed western and southern coasts.

Gusts of 50mph are likely inland while gusts of 60mph will affect some exposed coasts in the west and south.

Winds will will gradually ease from the west this afternoon.

The forecast for most of the week is for overcast conditions and temperatures in low double figures.

However, at the moment Friday could see the sun make an appearance and colder temperatures.
