Sussex weather forecast for Monday, August 3

Slight cloud this morning is set to give way to bright skies and warm sunny spells, with Sussex forecast to remain dry despite a build-up of cloud during the day.

Further east in the county the Met Office has predicted the possibility of showers, getting heavier along the east of the south coast.

Light winds will take the edge off a 24 degrees Celsius maximum temperature.

Tonight will see clear skies with the odd patch of mist of fog which will soon lift after dawn.

Minimum temperature of 11 degrees Celsius.
