Wings Museum set for special night-time opening

The Wings Museum is set to host a ‘Night at the Museum’ event this month, following the success of two similar sessions.

This event, set to take place on Wednesday, November 13, will be the last opportunity visitors will have to explore the museum in 2019 before it closes for the winter season.

The Wings Museum, near Balcombe, displays a wealth of original wartime memorabilia with hundreds of stories of personal sacrifice and bravery. Find out more about it here.

Visitors are advised to wrap up warm for the event, which will be held from 6pm to 10pm. Hot drinks will be available.

This event follows two similar nights held last month. On Wednesday, October 23, Andrew Denyer from Cyclops TV was in attendance and photographed some of the displays during the special night time opening.
