Witness appeal following two-car collision on A23

Police are appealing for witnesses following a two-car collision on the A23 near Bolney.

The collision occured on the A23 London Road at around 4pm on Sunday (February 26).

Fortunately neither the driver of the Bronze Kia, a 26-year-old man from Chichester, nor the driver of the black Mercedes, a 64-year-old man from Kent, were injured.

The road was blocked but reopened following recovery work at around 5.15pm.

PC Richard Brand from the Sussex Police Roads Policing Unit said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who was on that stretch of road on Sunday afternoon and who saw what happened immediately before or after the collision.

“We’d especially like to hear from anyone with information about a white Range Rover or Land Rover which was seen nearby.”
