Woman injured after two car crash

A woman was injured after a crash involving two vehciles this morning (Monday November 9).

Emergency services were called to the B2183 Beggar’s Wood Road in Cahiley, near the Chailey Heratige Foundation, at around 7am.

A spokesman for the fire service said one person was released from a car by crews.

A police spokesperson added a woman driving a BMW 3-series sustained chest injuries but was able to get out of her car.

The road was closed for around an hour while the incident was dealt with.
