I am writing to call upon your readers to sign up for the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) annual London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride on Saturday 24 September 2016 and help fight back against heart and circulatory disease, which is responsible for a quarter of all UK deaths.
Registration is now open for Europe’s biggest charity mountain-bike ride.
This unique event takes riders through steep forest inclines to tricky technical descents, rocky paths and adrenaline-pumping single tracks.
An achievable goal, but with the added technical challenges, makes it a ride suitable for cyclists of all abilities aged 16 and above.
Entry fees will be £35. Register by visiting www.bhf.org.uk/l2boffroad or calling the events team on 0845 130 8663.
