LETTER: Parking problems at hospital

The residents that live within walking distance of the Princess Royal Hospital, are having our roads affected by inconsiderate/dangerous parking by staff/visitors to the PRH.

No amount of notes put on windscreens has any effect, parking on kerbs forcing pedestrians to walk in the road, parking across drives on corners decreasing visibility.

I do have some sympathy with the inadequate parking and the cost of the car parks, this was raised with the councillors who came knocking for votes (five years ago) they said they were in discussions with the management of the hospital.

The problem is getting worse so I presume talks have stalled,if they ever took place!

Can I throug your paper plead with staff and visitors, that they park safely and with consideration of residents.
