The independent Natural Capital Committee advises the government in developing its 25 year environment plan.

Its third report, January 2015, The state of natural capital: protecting and improving natural capital for prosperity and wellbeing, sets out recommendations to achieve government’s vision, ‘to be the first generation to leave the natural environment in a better state than it inherited’.

How does this fit with a pursuit of shale gas and effects of fracking?
