The Richmond Regatta wins came from all sections of the Club from 15 year old boys and girls to Masters men and women each aged over 50. As well as individual tankards for wins, other Clubs there reported that Ardingly rowers had the loudest support and the biggest smiles.

On Sunday the Club President hosted a family fun day with picnics, raffles, the Great Ardingly Bake Off, coconut shy, welly wanging and tug-o-war.

It was a great way to thank parents, partners, children and grandchildren of Club members for their support through the year.

It raised a pretty penny towards much needed Club equipment too.

Development squad Coach, and one of the Bake Off winners, Wolfgang Weis commented, ‘A display of really good team efforts and a lot of memorable, positive moments, all packed into one weekend!’
