The annual Angmering Bluebell 10 mile trail run takes in a very scenic route through the Angmering Park Estate and is always popular.

This year 275 runners took part and for BHR Jon Boxall did well to finish in 20th place in a speedy 1hr 11mins 49 seconds.

Lisa Matthews finished in 1.45.24, followed by Lynsey Alty (1.47.49), Kay McMenamin (1.49.27) and Caz Wadey (1.55.22).

Meanwhile, club coach Jan Lavis and Nick Dawson completed the LDWA South Downs Marathon, a tough 28 mile event over the South Downs that started and finished at East Dean Village Hall.

Nick was particularly pleased as it was her first event over the marathon distance and is testament to the remarkable progress she has made, having only taken up running around two and a half years ago.
