The weekend was started off with the super-quick James Collins setting an amazing new 5k PB of 17:25 at the Oxford Parkrun. On Sunday several BHR traveled to Henfield for their difficult, annual 9-mile event which runs along the old railway line and along the side of the Adur.

Trevor Symes led the blue shirted runners home in 1:09:40 followed by Janet Clapton (1:22:13), Sally Symes (1:24:13), Sheryl Caldecourt (1:26:10) and Emma James (1:32:53). Meanwhile, Jon Boxall and Carole Mills were busy setting personal bests at the Surrey Half Marathon with fantastic times of 1:24:39 and 2:00:50 respectively. Neil Grigg was pleased with a time of 2:17:12 at the Milton Keynes 20 mile event (part of the MK Festival of Running) following his recent great form in longer distance events.
