Burgess Hill Runners take oon a variety of events

Another busy weekend in the local running calendar saw Burgess Hill Runners members take in a variety of events across the county.

At the longer end of the scale on Saturday Jan Lavis completed the CTS Endurancelife ultramarathon.

This is a tough event, covering 33.7 miles of the South Downs and including a double crossing of the Seven Sisters. Jan was pleased with her overall time of 7hrs 15 minutes. Dropping down the distances, a large contingent made the journey to Hastings and joined almost 3,500 runners for the ever-popular Hastings Half Marathon, many using this as their last long run-out before the upcoming Brighton and London marathons.
