All three league sideswin and the girlssecure league title

St Andrews 1st team continued their unbeaten start to the Invitation League Division 2 season by beating Horsham Trinity by nine wickets. Star all-rounder Hayden James took 7-51 to dismiss Trinity for 116 and then skipper Steve Kingcome (69no) shared an opening stand of 112 with Nick Elkins (39).

The 2nds bagged their first win as Iain Murray carried his bat for 127 out of 220-3 in what was his maiden century in his 332nd game. Colt Daniel Nichols then took 5-24 in 12 superb overs as Warnham were bowled out for 153.

The 3rds made it a hat-trick of league wins as Ray Cully (68) and Ryan Blake (57) shared a second wicket stand of 110 in their formidable total of 268-3. Portslade III replied with 175-6.

The U11 girls sealed the title as they extended their unbeaten run by beating Eastbourne and Brighton & Hove in a double header on Saturday. Adeline Preston (25) and Akarshana Bhatt (16) starred in a 28-run win against Eastbourne and then Preston (34) and Harriet Loveridge (2 wkts) took the honours as Brighton were beaten by 34 runs.

The U13 girls beat Brighton Swans and Steyning but lost to Chippingdale and Brighton Eagles in the Lady Taverners Cup.
